I didn't say anyone did. Having been over these discussion many times, I was just enumerating the various positions and presenting the counter-arguments. If you don't define human life as starting with the potential for human life, fine. It doesn't apply to you. If you define it as starting with a fertilized ovum, then there is the birth control pill problem.

As to the violinist, if a woman takes reasonable precautions, and those precautions fail, then the situation is analogous. To argue that if you take precautions against pregnancy and you still get pregnant then you have no choice but to bear the consequences is like arguing that even if you avoid dangerous areas and still get mugged you should bear the consequences...
