I think Althouse is correct in what she says, but her segue is invalid. Brooks was not calling for a do-over. There's no such thing as a do-over, not with all this water under the bridge.

I'm going to have to disagree with Ann this time. I believe democracy is an ever changing stream that molds our thoughts into recognizable and logical concepts that direct and guide us.

It's never too late to have a democratic debate.......democracy is versatile and discerning.
