Geoff, thanks for actually replying to what I wrote (and not trying to put words in my mouth or attach some feel-good label). That was truly refreshing. Now that we've narrowed down the issue to "increasing DTC transparency" as opposed to "suing the DTC to halt abusive and manipulative naked short selling by evil off-shore hedge funds", I'm wondering just how much urgency the industry will attach to this issue. If rooting out fraud by scam companies would be made easier by such reform, that might just do it. Wouldn't that be ironic? :) - Jeff (BTW, I was born in England so my parents seriously considered spelling my name as Geoff. But when they contemplated the thought that for the rest of my life I'd be saying "No, it's spelled G-e-o-f-f" they thought better of it!)
