It's true that humans are taking more than our share of the environment! I totally agree with you. But another way to mitigate that somewhat would be for humans to stop eating animals and fish. It takes far less of the earth's increasingly scarce resources to feed vegans than it does meat eaters. Everything about meat production pollutes and degrades the environment, and it is obvious we are destroying the balance of nature by fishing out the oceans as well.
