But Marcos, I thought Z was there going back at least 2000 years and more.
<But mommy, P hit Z first .... but Ron, P didn't hit Z first, because until 1882 there was no Z in the country to hit - the first move in this struggle comes from Z, who wants P's land, and has got the bucks to get it >

And having the bucks to buy land is great! There are many foreigners now buying land in New Zealand. Some locals bleat about it, because they dislike wealthy foreigners. They think that they own the land and it shouldn't be sold to foreigners.

It's about time people started buying things instead of taking them by force and the Jews seemed to be happy to do that. You seem to think Rothschild money is somehow tainted?

It does seem silly for the Arabs to start a war of conquest, lose, and then bleat about being dispossessed. That's what happens in wars of conquest. That's what they are for. To see who gets to own the land. I suppose they thought they had the numbers in 1948 and could easily ouster the Jews, to steal the land which had been bought [no doubt without requiring the previous Arab owner to give the money back].

Arabs should be grateful that a great economic performer is in their midst. A bit like most Maoris in NZ were happy to have the British arrive and start handing over money. Living in a ponga whare in winter while eating pipis and kumara and hoping not to be eaten by a neighbouring tribe wasn't as good as dressing up in Victorian gear, getting a decent education and job earning good money, with access to the rest of the world. Not to mention laws, guns and soldiers to protect one against the ravages of the bastards down the line.

A lot of your post is saying, But mommy, P hit Z first ....

LOL!! I guess it might come across that way.. But really what I'm referring to is power. No nation/state that I can think of has ever come into being without disenfranchising some preceding geographical claimant.

That's the the ebb and flow of power throughout all of our history.

What really should be considered is exactly WHY do the Palestinians constitute a national entity. What makes this unique, other than the fact that for some period of time they lived in Palestine?

I can look at the Kurds up north of me and see an actual national and unique state that is spread across 3 other nation/states.

But not a damn soul in the United Nations or EU is crying for them.

And certainly no Arabs are bemoaning THEIR state of "occupation".

But bear in mind, that I really do not condone creating states on the basis of ethnicity, to include Israel.

They only lead to trouble between neighbors and continuing reason not to learn to live together peacefully.

Btw, good to see you too.. We're in kind of an operational pause here as they re-tweak our computer systems.
