although none would acquiesce to the immigrants coming in, declaring their own State, and driving the original inhabitants out. They didn't drive the inhabitants out. The UN voted a partition (don't you normally like the UN?), the Jews accepted, the Arabs refused and attacked, promising to wipe out the Jews, and the Jews fought back and won. Before and during the course of the war, for many different reasons, most but not all of the Arabs of Palestine fled from the Jewish controlled areas. After the war, nearly 100% of the Jews of the Arab controlled areas fled to Israel. The Jews became Israelis. The Arabs became permanent refugees, generation unto generation. If the Jews had lost, there would be no Jews in Palestine today, and I'm sure you would not be crying over them or demanding that the Arabs give them a do-over on the war, as you demand of the Israelis.

Serbs were reduced to a minority by illegal immigration from impoverished and backward Albania into more prosperous Kosovo in Yugoslavia: Serbs were driven out of Kosovo through Albanian intimidation and by better prospects in Serbia, and by higher Albanian birthrates, the highest in Europe. If demographic transformations justify secession and independence, would Texas, New Mexico and California have to be returned to Mexico when Mexican-Americans outnumber other Americans in these states? President Hoxa publicly announced his doctrine of "Greater Albania," and began moves to annex Kosovo. As if on signal, a new wave of terror broke about against the Serbian population of Kosovo. Crops and homes of Serbian farmers were burned, ancient Serbian churches, monasteries, shrines and historical monuments were set fire or desecrated. Albanian terrorists even attacked nuns in their convents, Serbian girls and women were subjected to brutal assault and rape. The monument on the Field of Kosovo was attacked, as was the beloved Gracanica Church. The perpetrators of these crimes were never found, if they were even sought after. People in other countries would raise money for restoration; friends and allies would express their shock and support for the offended people. It is heartbreaking to ask now, where are the friends and allies of the Serbian people? Where were they through the 1970's and 80's when such outrageous acts were being perpetrated and Serbs being driven out of their homeland? Where are those who fought side by side with the Serbs in two world wars for the sake of freedom and democracy? Indeed. Nor do they voice an objection or lobby against the State Department’s anti-Yugoslavia, anti-Serb policy which is unwavering despite ongoing anti-Serb rampages and the Albanians’ turning on KFOR peacekeepers and UN workers. The apathy is especially out of place, given the parallels that abound between the Jewish and Serbian experiences. They leave out of fear and terror.” He adds that when Jewry’s most vocal members, many of whom built their careers and foundations on commemoration of the Six Million, “join politicians in making cheap Holocaust analogies at the expense of Serbs, they also expend their Six Million. But I suppose it’s easier to see wrong already done than wrong in the making. “I’m not saying that people didn’t get hurt [by Serbs],” Branko continues. “No nation is a nation of saints or criminals. Were there killings? Of course, but the crimes were greatly exaggerated.” Indeed, the “hundreds of thousands” reported dead by the State Department and White House before the NATO invasion now number just 2,000-including both Albanians and Serbs. Likewise, as mass graves — and a mining shaft thought to contain 700 Albanian bodies — turn up empty, the “thousands upon thousands” of Albanians “purged” by Serbs during the NATO siege appear to be closer to a few hundred. So why did NATO, under pressure from the US , go after the Serbs,when it was THEY! who were being ethnically displaced?
