Yah I held a lot of xom expecting big dividend increases - but they give lee raymond a 37 billion dollar raise - and he wouldn't even give 5K to help poor kids with cancer - UNBELIEVABLE!

Redistribution to the clueless is the way to destroy capital. The point of capitalism is that wealth goes to those who know what to do with it. I was found to be unfit to handle too much of it by my unwise investment in Globalstar. It's a self-limiting process.

When the useless offspring get their hands on their father's achievements [usually the father though they say behind every successful man there's a woman], they usually blow it in a few decades at most. Not many double it again and again.

If you think the oil industry is so profitable, buy the shares, or start your own oil company, or get a job in the oil industry and work like mad for a few decades to get to the top. Remember that at the top, there is not a lot of room so not everyone will get there.

Lord John Browne did it, and I can understand that. Talent, energy and charm do achieve.
