The most myopic poster on the thread commenting on lack of vision? Too funny.

Google is NOT being priced on its current earnings. It's the retail market's equivalent of waterfront property, and priced accordingly.

Feel free to try and twist a comment out of perspective, but my comment was to your statement about stock option expensing going to kill startups, with specific reference to Google. Unfortunately, an extreme case of tunnel vision prevents you from seeing that Google is not priced based on its earnings (with, or without stock option expensing). Google will be priced to a considerable premium. Whether stock options are expensed or not.

That is EXACTLY that kind of perspective that is necessary to operate successfully in private equities. Which is indeed where I make my living. And I owe my entire income stream to the fact that there are millions of investors willing to pay way more for slices of hopes and dreams than me.

Oh, and by the way,... I've made some good money on Google. Just because I see and comment on the rush of lemmings to the sea doesn't mean I don't set traps for lemmings along the way. Go lemmings go!!

For a laugh, really do take a glance at the article Darffot posted over on the google thread: sagecapital.com
