I think it's still a shameful story. Yes. At least he might not be innocent (I certainly hope he wasn't). I think the number of poor minority defendents put to death in this country should evoke some shame. But that's just my opinion. And I certainly do have a bias- but it isn't one against having more information- can you see how my bias against the death penalty, has nothing to do with what I might think about being presented with data? My feelings on the death penalty have nothing to do with the guilt or innocence of the person being killed- so data on their guilt or innocence would have nothing to do with my POV on that.
