I got them from a US history professor specialized in China cultural history. I asked him for the sources. I heard or read about them before, so I have no doubt they are totally or mythically true. I myself have long time ago (1500's) of lineage ties to the Formosa and Fujian. So I am kind of like, in some sense, a mongrel (hehehe), but definitely not a western lackey.

Lots of Fujians are not native, but they were Hans whose ancestors ran south when their army lost a war in the north or elsewhere. The newer transplants (2 geenerations) in today's Fujian province tend to be snotty and look down on the Fujianese. There is also snottiness by the northern Fujianese on their southern Fujianese.

So you may only know Fujianese the language but not really of Fujian native genetic hereditary.

I am sure there is Mongols genetics in some of China's population pool because the Mongols conquered China for several centuries. Do you know that the Okinawans are considered as outcasts or third class citizens by the Japanese?
