What he wrote in his report is "unfortunately" "inevitably" true up to this moment.

It's a no brainer. You guys have to settle this matter in a peaceful manner.

But, as stupid as it may sound, you guys could drag the rest of the world into a gigantic catastrophe. This can all easily be avoided.

For now, you guys on the Island could pretend to be free and those guys on the mainland can pretend they are the masters. This could go on for a long time - until everybody forgets what the argument is all about.

You guys should go on with your business. As long as you guys keep everybody happy on your island, become model citizens of the world - those guys on the mainland can not touch you.

There is no need for either side to go look for a fight.
