Yes, I agree. The entire world is going crazy, and young girls, trying to find their way in that world, are dieting even younger and have seriously distorted body images. I am not sure what to do about it! Parents of young girls should not support them being on diets if they are not significantly overweight, though, and should seek professional psychological and nutritional counseling to help their children if they are unhappy with the way they look. It is really hard to be a child in a place where adults regularly carve themselves up to look better. I don't have any answers on this at all. Do you?
