Not a chance Hillary will even get CLOSE to a nomination.
I don't know one influential democrat who would support her over really good candidates like Kerry, Biden, Richardson, Warner, Bayh, or even Wes Clark, Edwards, Nelson, Vilsack. Hillary is not even the top woman.

These polls are highly unreliable. Besides, I personally doubt Hillary will ever run. She knows how much the rightwing would love to see her run. She won't give them the satisfaction UNLESS she were to somehow do something so heroic and great that suddenly her image is totally turned around, like personally shooting Osama Bin Lauden.

By the way, what happened to Bush's promise to track down Osama? He never mentions him. Hasn't for years except one time when a reporter forced him to say the name.

It is also possible Gore may run again. It's way too early to even be talking about this, but right now there are about eight guys who could beat Hillary for the nomination.

On the GOP side, I hope Frist is nominated since he's sold his soul to the far right and HMO's and will never win the general election. Ditto Jeb Bush. McCain could probably win though. Hagel would also be a strong candidate.

Will the DOW fall below 10000 tomorrow? More important that all this character BS is the economy. If the economy sinks by next year and through to 2008, the GOP will be swept out of power, because they were the ones totally in charge and they blew it. On every single issue now, the public is not happy.
