Peter, Well those that are affronted by the French English bilingualism may have forgotten our history. Basically all the Italians or Greeks I know in Montreal (anecdotal I know) are trilingual... especially Italians and Portuguese... Well I may not be happy with the state of my country and the Liberal party but I will state that joining the US is not a an option my book... They make great cousins... but that is close enough for me..That would be my strongest reason for keeping Canada together... which was of course one of the main confederation drivers to begin with... regards K
