"I would prefer Ontario Join the US and the rest of Canada do anything they want as long as Ontario doesn't have to pay for it..."

You should get a lot of mileage out of that profound statement. Just about as funny as the show that preempted Survivor. LOL!"

Sorry I didn't know Survivor was preempted, never watch it. Frankly I have believed for a long time that the Federal Government and by extention the country is nearly unworkable. Where I live in Ontario, every level of government is claiming poverty, and the costs are skyrocketting. The water rates have more than doubled, Hydro is hugely expensive, the roads are increasingly impassible and under the Provincial Fiberals it is only going to get worse. However if Ontario were to separate from the rest of Canada, there is enough income generated within the province to solve most of the problems. That cannot happen under the Federal Government, the Federal Government simply wastes far more money with far less effect than Ontario can afford. Anything would be better than the present situation with each provincial government pleading their poverty and the Federal Government spending money on whatever farce pops into their empty heads.

The Federal Government has made our military into a joke, our economy into a disaster, and our provinces into beggars whining for their own money. There should be a Liberal hanging from every streetlight in Ottawa, or Ontario should get out of Confederation and go it's own way....
