"Bush actually mentioned the words captial gains and dividends"

Wayne, Bush mentioned these because he's for ELIMINATING any taxes on either of these. He's already CUT them.

The problem is conservatives declared war on taxation (for the rich especially) but also insisted we spend even more, especially on the military. But they knew they couldn't cut social spending much or they'd lose elections. So now we're stuck with endless deficits and we're basically bouncing the big check and borrowing money from China and Japan to pay off our credit card minimums every month.

The richest country on earth and we're a bunch of credit card addicts with no fiscal responsibility, especially to our kids and grand kids.

When Bush talks about sparing our kids and grand kids you have to laugh. He's already saddled them with trillions in new debt after he inherited a surplus.
