The rightwing owe Kofi Annan a big apology, just as they do to Bill Clinton. Both were invested thoroughly, in Clinton's case by rightwing zealots, and both were cleared of all charges. Whitewater of course was a phony issue. What the rightwing really wanted was to somehow investigate the president's sex life. Which they did.

You should stop reading rightwing propaganda and read real news. Annan was cleared by a completely independent and credible investigation. Completely cleared. Yes, some middleman friends of Saddam were guilty and Kofi's son was up to a little mischief, but if fathers are responsible for their sons, then Bush Sr. would be in a lot of trouble, wouldn't he? Remember Silverado S+L? Harken Energy? Enron? Halliburton? Jeb's land deals in Florida? The phony energy crisis? The voter fraud in Florida and Ohio? And the SmearVets and WMD's lies?
