There are both pros and cons to being 'like everybody else' .... anyway, had that been what jews in general really wanted, there had been ample opportunity over the millennia to blend into the populations around them ... and many did

You might consider stepping back for a moment, take an overall look, and ask yourself, How is this zionist project going, so far ... Is there greater or lesser peace due to its operations ... Is it good for the species ... oh never mind that, not important - Is it good for the jews

Nice try on 'Ford = your sources', heh heh ... yes, the old double standard, zionists can say anything, quote anybody, but critics of their project must be severely limited ... this double standard comes up in a piece this morning by one of our favourite honourary canuckistanis -

'Goldberg endorsed "the Ledeen Doctrine" of ex-Pentagon official Michael Ledeen, which Goldberg described thus: "Every ten years or so, the United States needs to pick up some small crappy little country and throw it against the wall, just to show we mean business." (When the French ambassador in London, at a dinner party, asked why we should risk World War III over some "shitty little country"”meaning Israel, Goldberg's magazine was not amused.)'

RE: "...your sources...a notorious anti-Semite..."

I am surprised you continue the dialogue. Do you have trouble believing there still are anti-semites? Why waste your time talking to the likes of people who murdered 6 million Jews 60 years ago. Now their focus is on Israel. They don't like the idea that 5 million Jews have a country and 400 nuclear devices to protect it. They don't talk about the 22 Arab countries with over 300 million people. They created a new "people" for the 300,000 Arabs that were in Palestine in 1850 and the 900,000 that lived there in 1920. They use these "people" to undermine the legitimacy of Israel. They have done a very successful job, but it is not surprising. In a world where the murder of 6 million Jews saw much more effort to protect Nazi war criminals after the war than Jewish victims during the war, any anti-Jewish propaganda is guaranteed to be favorably received by the majority of people. Take your cue from Shimon Peres. He is known to most of the world for his Nobel Peace Prize awarded for his part in the Oslo debacle. His real genius is as the father of Israel's atomic bomb. He and the other leaders of Israel knew the world and its people. They knew what Sharon likes to repeat, Israel must defend itself. They succeeded, Israel can defend itself, and the anti-Semites will not murder Jews with impunity again. That is something to celebrate and you will have time if you don't waste it here.
