I am surprised you continue the dialogue. Do you have trouble believing there still are anti-semites? None at all, I assure you. But since today's anti-Semites are coy about admitting their anti-Semitism - they don't hate Jews, they're just anti-Zionists, for the sake of the poor oppressed Palestinians, etc - I think it is useful to engage with them until their true motivations begin to show. Also, since most people don't actually know any history of the Middle East whatsoever, it is necessary to combat the line that the "Zionists just came from Europe and stole the country of Palestine from the Arabs" with some historical facts.
