I've heard a few rumors over the years that one might have been seen. I wonder how viable the population is? With today's technology maybe they can clone the DNA and make up a big batch of 'em <g>. Seriously, this should help spur efforts to preserve and expand the habitat.

Spring is really early here. The birch leaves were big as a squirrel's ear several days ago. Time to plant some peas in my garden.
