Yeah, that's why the last 10 ethical lapses to come out in the last two weeks have been democrats

"It is interesting that the NYT never gets around to reporting on the many Democrats ethical lapses."

Maybe because ethical lapses by the Dems pale in comparison to the GOP

The protests are falling on deaf ears which is envitable when someone cries wolf one too many times.

Exactly. Since the FMSM spend all of their efforts trying to distract the world from Democrat ethical lapses and abuse of power, they lost credibility long ago. Those who repeat the same tabloid journalism have their credibility assessed similarly.

If you don't beleive it, here is a google search of the biggest house ethics story today. There seem to be no postings from your favorite liberally biased tabloids.

google.com

The 27th link is currently for a W-Post article that actually is a switch and bate for more Democrat evasions of McDermott's problems.

The 34th link is to a CNN article which lables the problem as a Republican charge. You may be able to identify the difference between a story that is headlined: "Pelosi accepts illegal travel funds, misreports source"; and Republicans charge Pelosi with misreporting of travel funding". (Made up.)

The 80th link is the the following Guardian story:
You have to go well into the sotry to get to this biased quote "DeLay charged that Democrats actually want the work of the committee thwarted so that they can protect one of their own members, Rep. Jim McDermott of Washington, who is under scrutiny in connection with the illegal leak of a tape recording of a Republican congressman's cellphone conversation. "

There were a few Seattle stories about McDermott, but none got around to mentioning his ethics or legal problems. No stories the the first 109 from slate, msnbc, nbc, cbd, nyt, boston globe, etc.

Of course since these sources didn't mention it, it must not be a story. ROTFLMH
