When Trump said "its artificially done its one of those problems" in reference to interest rates I assumed he thinks normal market interest rates are artificial. Its one of the problems of living in a monetarist economy. People involved in real estate and other industries in the US have become so accustomed to borrowing money at subsidized below-market rates that it has fostered a sense of entitlement. Normal market rate interest are now seen by many as artificial. .
