Maybe the average Canadian sees the New Conservative party (really still the alliance party) as still a micky mouse party, until they can recruit some quality candidates. Peter Kent is a good start, but still need about a dozen more quality people. Let me get this right? Canada's GDP is about 185 Billion and the BIG scandal was 250 Million. Is that even a percentage point? The opposition is making this the scandal of the century. LOL! But thats there job. You probe any political party and you will find injustices. Having said that, The Liberals should be held accountable and pay back what ever is deemed just. An election will cost about 250 million approx. Canadians clearly do not want an election at this point. You think the Liberals will not exploit this :) Realistically the Conservatives still need some quality people in there core. Then they will have my vote. until then its a wait and see. imo
