I read the whole article, but it confirms my view of PETA's modus operandi, which is to impugn an entire industry or business based on the misbehavior of a few.

I've taken carriage rides in Ohio, Nevada, and Oregon. The horses were well cared for and appeared to be very content with their jobs.

The same goes for their activities vis a vis the Iditarod in Alaska. Sled dogs live to run, and they're unhappy if they're not running. PETA just wants to shut the whole thing down.

PETA should go after individual culprits, not smear everyone in sight.

You might not understand this analogy, but PETA's activities are like using a shotgun to shoot an elk. Their shot wounds the target animal and all the ones who get in the scatter.

Cosmo Kramer's horse sure knew how to get back at those luxury riders. Whew!
