if you are trying to refute the notion that gold can serve as a medium of exchange, this does not support your argument.

if TSHTF, having the ability to produce liquor as a medium of exchange seems like a great idea. a basement full of marlboro cigarettes would probably be pretty good too if mobility were not an issue.
