Maybe you're right maybe you're not. The test of the Bible is whether or not its prophecies actually come to pass or not. Some interesting ones have come to pass in the last 100 years. The restoration of Israel as a Nation, if you had asked anybody even 500 years ago, people would say 100% impossible yet in 1948 it actually happened. Thats just one example. Sure there are some contradictions. Some things don't make sense at all. But overall an interesting document. I'm not saying you're right or wrong. All I'm saying is put the book to the test. Do its predictions happen or not.

People 2000 years ago were considerably smarter than many red staters are today. They knew about the planets, the stars, the sun, geometry, mathematics, etc. Evolution doesn't happen that quickly so we're probably the same type of person as existed 10,000 years ago. Then came 'civilizations' that decided to sit on top of knowledge and call such understanding sacreligeous. They did that during the Inquisition as well. Now they're doing it today claiming, despicably, that creationism is on the same plane as evolution. These idiots are actually disturbed by the Hubble Telescope since it pronounces the Universe to be some 14 billion years old and not 6,000 years old. They are also disturbed by carbon dating and the finding of fossils. They are not just idiots, they are sacreligeous. If they believe in God, they HAVE TO believe in the God given right to improve upon the world we live in. Otherwise, what is the purpose of life. God doesn't want the kids being dull, stupid, boring and LAZY.
