Nice people racing sled dogs are not negative in any way, unless they abuse them. Nice people racing greyhounds are not negative in any way, unless they abuse greyhounds. Nice people with horse-drawn carriages are not negative in any way, unless they abuse horses. Nice people with sheep farms are not negative in any way, unless they abuse sheep. Nice people with dairy farms are not negative in any way, unless they abuse dairy cows. Nice people with chicken farms are not negative in any way, unless they abuse chickens. Nice people with beef ranches are not negative in any way, unless they abuse beef cattle. I object to animal abuse, but I see their role in the global ecosystem as what they are: part of a system of life that has nothing to do with justice and suffering--only survival. I play by the same rules they do, except I try to make a clean kill and waste not. Your object to animal abuse, but you impugn the nice people trying to make a living. You put everybody in the same category as the woman who killed her kittens when they grew up to be cats. Everybody is not like that, even if they are wearing sheepskin slippers and eating chicken for supper. There are laws to prevent animal abuse. You didn't understand my point at all, but I'm not surprised. That does not mean that nice people having cats is negative in some way.
