"My beef is with our own foreign policy, that supports the radical Zionists, the ones that want to expand Israel to THESE borders:"

Neither the US govt or the Israeli govt support those borders. There are radical jews who do. What are you smoking. Even Marcos is agin you on this one. Are you Pat Buchanans lover or is there a gal in the state dept on the mideast desk you are after?
On one hand we have marcos who thinks the jews should be expelled from israel if they dont give up the idea of a jewish state and you who believe that the israelis are into biblical literalism. There was one second in the beginning of the Begin regime where Greater Israel might have been considered. Settlements were designed by labor to pressure arabs into making a grand peace and when faced with reality became the same policy of Likud. Failed to do what it set out to do and now has to be traded in for peace--well maybe it worked over a much longer time frame than the 1967 israelis ever imagined. Mike

When countering extremist propaganda, as we do here, it can be useful to point out the fallacies on which they base their positions ... to cut to the core, to see exactly why today's situation is as it is ... and it is clear in this case, that what happened was plain and simple, zionists crossed the sea to take the lands of arab natives, while native reaction was and is exactly that - reaction

Practical reality is that there will one day be meaningful negotiation, meantime we are not even close to there yet, the fiat/fait accompli du jour is quite temporary, certainly not cumplido, to throw a little spanish in the mix, and it is by no means certain that the right of conquest will be accorded the weight that zionists wish ... this could be expanded but typing time runneth out ... much later .... cheers
