The Israeli government, which could have forbidden the settlements, allowed them and supported them, and is only now dismantling some of the unsustainable ones. Our government, while disputing the settlements with talk, has continued to shower Israel with money and support. The mixed messages say "settle away"! The Palestinians have no rights.

How about the borders where the Israelis already are? most of which have gone back and forth. 1948: Arabs had a war of conquest, lost, but took East Jerusalem and Gush Etzion. Every Jew killed or driven out. 1967: Arabs tried another war of conquest, lost again. This time they lost East Jerusalem and Gush Etzion. The driven out Jews took them back. Now they are just full of Jews.

Wouldn't it be more sensible to draw the borders to reflect current reality?
