First the Lib-Dems got control of the London Borough of Sutton then the two constituencies and Kingston and Surbiton too... That was Norman Lamont's seat?

Europe does seem rather unexciting. Hence I am here or in Aus :) Not sure this was such a great move though. And recently I toyed with moving to Sweden. My former girlfriend though said I was too "American" and would never put up with the system in Sweden :)

Please be nice to Gordon Brown. He has been very nice to many people on this thread. When gold was near a low point, he helped take it lower AND rang the bell for the bottom by selling tons of the heavy yellow stuff that was cluttering the vaults at the Bank of England. I guess they needed to make room for dot-com stock, or tourist brouchures on "Cool Britania".

That's about the time many of us bought physical gold, and invested with Lucky Pierre and his happy crew at Franco-Nevada.

So I like Gordon Brown.

If he becomes PM after His Tonyness, we might get some UK assets at a great price.

If he doesn't become PM, maybe he could be a consultant to the US Department of Defense. His track record makes him a good fit.

Three cheers for Gordon !

Oh ... you pay taxes in the UK? Sorry about that. Hope that big gouge heals soon.
