This is a Kerry thread, so I discuss Kerry. More the process and prospects than the specifics of the candidate. Check the recent posts in my profile. I would be surprised if you see any posts that "bash" Kerry, though I have to admit that some of your posts make it very tempting. You need to give politics a rest and go back to pumping stocks. Do you remember the first thread where we encountered each other?

Nixon had the potential to be a great president, but for the war and poisoned political environment that he inherited. The "new" Nixon was a smiling, clean shaven Nixon. His core principles remained essentially the same, for better or for worse. He merely adapted to the realities of television.

As for 2008, I have a favored candidate. However, I am going to remain mute on that subject until after the 2006 elections.

The electoral college will tilt further in favor of the Republicans after the 2010 census.
