Kerry was right and Bush wrong about Iraq.

Senator Levin today said that if Iraq isn't quelled by next year it's a lost cause. Why? Piss-poor planning by the White House and DOD toppers.

Also you can't fix problems unless you acknowledge they exist and Bushies are notoriously dishonest about covering up problems. To them everything is political, so to admit a setback in Iraq would be to disappoint the rightwing base. No can do. Keep spinning and lying. Iraq is going great, they say. Even if they still don't know who the enemy is.

Mission accomplished, huh? What was their real mission anyway? Taking the oil-fields for Exxon? Swiping the 2002 midterms so they could put themselves above the law and rip off hundreds of billions?

People keep getting butchered in Baghdad every day. Not a day passes without a few dozen bodies being discovered. What are the US troops doing? Or is it because there are too few US troops in Iraq, just as fired general Shinseki and others were clearly saying before the invasion????
