I can feel your pain. There are so many things in this world "that simply don't make sense". People should be different, they should be "rational" but they aren't. I see some people trading significant parts of their life in exchange for things I find no value in. Yet enough people value these things that they're very costly. I think they're fools but I can't say it bothers me, in the way it seems to bother you. My Mother has always told us that, "we should be grateful that not everyone likes what we do, because that means there's more for us." .
