You can join the military up to age 39. If you've already been in the military, apparently you're never too old or too dead for recruiters to come knocking. You can also work for a contractor and get hundreds of thousands in tax free income for a year or two in hell. You can peel potatoes, drive trucks or do any number of normally easy jobs...as long as you don't mind being dead without notice at any time. You started the argument by calling the sectarian divisions PARTIES as if they're simply political ideologies freely chosen by individuals. You're continuing the argument by taking the Pollyanna approach to a deadly situation. This is a once-in-a-lifetime, once-in-a-century power grab for wealth, land, autonomy and power over others. Add in a history of abuse and fighting and then add in fundamentalism versus modernism. Yep, Polly is going to have an easy go of it.
