Kerry should have been better prepared? That's an understatement. The right wing even smeared their own man McCain's military career and Cleland as you stated...not understanding that Rove would be attacking Kerry's career was a major blunder by the Kerry team. It's a screw up of such gargantuan proportions it's almost unfathomable! And then to put the target squarely on your nose...it's like begging Rove to punch you in the face! Kerry is washed up.
