OT You probably heard the thrilling news about SF winning the stem-cell $3B initiative. Excellent news for scientists.

Well, Mercury News said a religious right group filed a lawsuit to stop its funding. Same group that filed a lawsuit to force that poor brain-dead lady to "live".

On a different note, notice how gloomy engineers all over the Valley are - downturn and offshoring gloom. Silicon Valley really needs to get the ball rolling on something else here.
