"A fetus is not exclusively comprised of the womans body"

It is a parasite within the woman and relies solely on her for survival. Whether it is a wanted or unwanted parasite is the question. Certainly, it is on the path to independent life and personhood. It is on the path to sentience and independent breathing--and all the other things that determine the individuality of a human being.

Again--it is not the most preferred form of birth control. But it is certainly legitimate for a woman to decide what to do with the egg or the embryo feeding off of her body. It may not always be admirable; but it ought always to be lawful.

Your "the egg is a person" argument is not really an argument. It is just a boring mantra that addresses nothing. The egg is the exclusive PROPERTY of the woman and her partner. Society ought to have no interest whatsoever until that egg becomes individualized according to rational criteria.

In the theory of your God--whatever does not flow from free will flows from an Intentioned and Insistent God. To say that anything was chaos or random would be to deny the omnipotence and the control of your alleged Creator. If your God repeatedly and intentionally disposes of fertilized eggs--He is clearly setting the guidelines.

However, if it is simply evolution in progress and there is no Stern Old Man who is giving a damn about which sperm reaches which egg or how do you get that stuff in the middle of the chocolate or the "soul" in the middle of the egg...then it is a different story. What does it look like to you? A Feeble Old Fellow who CANNOT keep that fertilized egg attached? Or that He does not CARE for the potential of that human DNA? Or that there really is a Sasquatch in Norway House?
