Thin client solutions have generally failed. Remember Sun's Autoclient prior to the Java stations or do you have any concept of the history of Sun + thin clients?

At this point betting on thin client solutions when PC's are at record low prices is a bad bet at best in a low margin environment. Sun may hope to sell more low margin servers for these solutions I guess since "the network is the computer".

So when the server goes down you have potentially 1000's of employees unable to work.
