1. The vast majority of Muslims or those who resemble Muslims are not criminals, hijackers, members of AQ. 2. Remember Oklahoma City? Why don't we profile every male between the ages of 18-24? Those are the people who do the vast majority of crimes in the US. 3. German-Americans represented the largest immigrant population int he US during WWII but weren't rounded up and put into concentration camps. 4. If we've become more civilized than we were back then, that should be welcomed. 5. The entire point about profiling is that it's indiscriminate. Resemblance is not probable cause. There was plenty of info prior to 911 that could have been used to mitigate or even halt 911. The entire point is to find out WHO SPECIFICALLY is conspiring. Find the couple of dozen people who rate further scrutiny instead of automatically making millions into suspects. Our law enforcement is better than that.
