Yes, good post. My problem is I think even mildly competent planning pre-invasion and we would have had ZERO insurgency. Thats what pisses me off.

Most Iraqi's were happy to see Saddam go. I even think we could have brought the Sunni's to our side. But a long list of really stupid blunders has landed us & the friendly Iraqi's in the current fix.

You need to read the article in the link below carefully. Its what the foreign press has been saying for months but what the American press mostly has been too reticent to repeat. Things are getting worse in Iraq, not better.

Yes, I agree mistakes have been made and our history in the region is a large part of the problem we are forced to try to fix today. However, you and other keep pointing to the large number of Iraqi dead as if it was the U.S. who caused those deaths and that is false.

Who came in like a bull in a china closet and totally upset the Iraqi power structure while not having something with which to replace it? Who else are you going to blame for a Bush mistake? And its not like there weren't people telling Bush not to do it or that Americans were really confident about the move...........Bush went ahead in spite of the opposition.

I blame no one but Bush and his cronies for the mess we are in.......the Sunnis are only taking advantage of Bush's inexperience and incompetency when it comes to foreign matters.

Its time to admit our mistake and bring American troops home asap.
