>>Short QCOM and go long NEM<<

Yes, that would be the financial equivalent of whipping yourself with one of those chain flails! Gold miners are tanking because of the stronger dollar and rising energy/material costs. Meanwhile, technology stocks are having a stealth rally.

Mq will be tickled to know that QCOM has out-performed NEM over ALL historical time-frames charted by Yahoo...

1 day: finance.yahoo.com

5 day: finance.yahoo.com

3 month: finance.yahoo.com

6 month: finance.yahoo.com

1 year: finance.yahoo.com

2 year: finance.yahoo.com

5 year: finance.yahoo.com

Max: finance.yahoo.com

Curiously, as of May 13 the two have an almost identical price and yield: QCOM is $35.30/share and yields 1.02%, NEM is $35.31/share and yields 1.13%.
