Only upside I can see is lawmakers hearing about police that won't even enforce a law might want to rethink their stance. WI legislators in their never ending quest for our money passed an increase 2 years ago for the minimum speeding ticket to $151. This would be for 0 to 10 over. Tickets for 0-10 over dropped like 95%. The next step is 10-15 over and those tickets dropped 65%. 15 and over stayed close to the same. As my friend said he was going to be damned if he was going to write some working stiff that makes 300 a week a damn ticket for 8 over that costs him half a weeks pay. They lowered the minimum ticket by the way to 85.
