I'm not pointing at Lizzie but you hit the nail on the head regarding Liberalism. They truly believe they are on a higher plain. Being enlightened they are better suited to direct the course of social evolution. They will respect the democratic process as long as liberal policy is maintained. If it should divert then they are all for stepping in and overruling the will of the people. It's for your own good and they know better than you, after all they're enlightened and you aren't, otherwise you'd be liberal and they wouldn't need to act on your behalf!

chips looking really good here. Intel not up too much today but we have some really small pullbacks in stocks like nvls that shot up on friday. Pundits like Cramer are still down on tech, but there is a lot more activity in silicon valley and some new tech gizmos like RSS that might mean this rally is for real? Wishful thinking, I know.

- in the past when I was looking for a lagging group after chips had a rally, I bought the semiconductor design software like synopsys and cadence.
