I would agree that George Galloway rose to the occasion well. Sometimes I watch the "cut and thrust" in the UK's parliament. Even the guys who I think are good at it get sliced up bad at times. There are some things that UK people are good at, other things Americans are better at. So George Galloway whacked 'em good at the stand up fight. The stuff he used in his defence was all from the best sources we Brits can provide. "Hansard". My golly I would have felt a little uneasy with a quip like that if I was part of the prosecution. My guts would have turned into jelly. I do have some doubts on George Galloway though. He was always a little too keen on becoming a big name politician instead of looking after the people who voted him into office. Now Georgie is an official "big shot politician" he get on with the real biz of looking after the small guys in Britain. -g- Anyway. The USA has guys who are good at checking up on the facts. Hansard has a real accurate record. If the USA government and intelligence has any concerns with George Galloways impact on the Iraq war and current policy, they can set a small army of people to sift through the records. Look for leads on where Galloway has fallen off the track and expose him. Of course others on the right wing can be exposed too in the process. At the end of the day though, after being pro the Afghanistan war, the hit back at the extremists after 9/11, I was in doubt about the Iraq war. I'm firmly against it now, and dead set against any Iran war.
