Guckert DID NOT play by the day pass rules which are used only for those JOURNALISTS who come from out of town and who are in for a very specific purpose or for someone who doesn't regularly get in but needs to be there for a VERY SPECIFIC PURPOSE. Guckert received passes when there were ZERO press activities and he received 197 of them. That is inappropriate use of day passes and it is unprecedented. In this WH, however, it IS approriate use of passes for gay male prostitutes. Therefore, in conclusion: Guckert is Rove's gay male prostitute who occasionally attended an actual press event.

No, Gannon was vouched for at the highest level of the White House. If you or I or some blogger wanted to get into White House press briefings it would be next to impossible. We'd have to be personally approved by Rove or McClellan or someone else very high up. Remember, when Gannon started going there he wasn't anything but a gay hooker. He wasn't working for Talon.com or anything. However he did advertise himself as a "conservative man" on one of his escort ads.
