re: I am haunted by a dying man asking for water and getting a bottle with holes in the bottom. And that he might have been innocent is almost more than I can handle. This guy was a brother, a friend, a son.....maybe even a father. And he died because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time and because America has been overrun by thugs.

Remember, before the war, how the right used to talk about the murdering, torturing Saddam Hussein and how we had to get him out of power. They talked as if they thought we were somehow better, how we would save these poor folks.

They knew who Saddam was because they are him and they knew how to appeal to the American sense of right or wrong. Even now, people like longnshort and Ten mock the concern over torture while Peter makes believe its not true and Tim says its not all that common. They all know who they are and what they represent. Its a game and like CJ says, to try and fight them with the facts is a joke. It just keeps us busy and out of their hair.

Now, the Gargoyles support torture and murder of Afghan cabbies...

That's right........not only do they support it; they enjoy it.

"They talked as if they thought we were somehow better, how we would save these poor folks."

You know, when Bush was pushing so hard for American soldiers to be immune from charges of war crimes, I figured he was just being paranoid about frivolous accusations. I never dreamed that committing war crimes was an actual tactic they were considering...

Toto, we aren't in Kansas any more.
