We need to GET OFF petroleum, not keep promoting it. The 20 billion Bush wants to give the oil companies in corporate welfare should be spent on clean alternatives fuels only.

Consumers are now ready and willing to buy non-gasoline cars. So time to push that hard and subsidize it. Even taxing gasoline if necessary to make gas-guzzling a luxury. Bill O'Reilly is also for this. We need to change. Desperately. Kerry would have been all over this and pushing us forward into the future. Instead, Bush-Cheney are keeping us hostage to the oil companies and Saudis.

So much blather. I said ANWR oil is certainly not going to be set aside for the US consumer, but sold to the highest bidder in the international markets instead. And you are posting unrelated drivel in response.
