Done. It should be noted that the projected base closings for Maine ( I know they are happening in lots of states but Maine is 2nd in total jobs lost) seems to come too close to this vote for it not to be considered somewhat of a scare tactic for Collins and Snowe.

My GOP moderate friends are coming along, don't worry. During the election they refused to go against Bush and stuck with the party, but now they realize they agree with moderate Democrats on almost every issue and disagree with rightwing Bushies on almost every issue. Plus they have seen the dishonesty and arogance of the neocons and religious right and are just as alarmed and disgusted as we are.
