I'm seeing something in Los Angeles I've never seen before.

When I look on the MLS, the number of listings has declined dramatically.

When I drive around I see many "For Sale" signs. The signs are from agents with large firms which are members of the MLS.

Yet when I look up many of the homes with "For Sale" signs in the MLS, there is no listing. There wither hasn't been a listing, or there used to be a listing which did not result in a sale.

All I can figure is that the agents or the sellers don't want a history in the MLS of their home being on the market for an extended period of time.

Today's Palm Beach Post had an entire section devoted to the local real estate market neighborhood by neighborhood.

Talk about signs of a top.!
