Do you think Arafat would not have happily killed enough Israelis to force the rest to flee and have the entire lad to himself?

I don't know, and neither do you.

The POINT is that the sentence "Arafat HAS DONE as much evil in the world as Hitler did" focuses on actual deeds and not on "would have, could have, should have" type of speculations.

And, as such, it is quite wrong. [Which is all I said to MD before you came].

Who was head of the PLO in 1972? What happened to the Israeli athletes at the Olympic Games in Munich? Do you think Arafat had no prior knowledge of such a high-profile event?

Let's assume Arafat was not only aware of, but actually planned and carried out the slaughter of Israeli athletes in Munich. In no way does that equals the genocide of millions of Jewish men, women, children in "evil".

If you are going to argue against that, let me point out in advance that there are quite a few terrorist organizations out there who have killed several hundreds of people here and there. You might find it difficult to argue that they have done "as much evil in the world as Hitler did".

Do also remember that while Palestinian terror killed quite a few innocent Israelis, the Israeli army killed FAR MORE innocent Palestinians. If killing Israelis means Arafat = Hitler in terms of evil, then what does killing MORE Palestinians make the Israeli state?

By the way:

I did NOT make that statement

I know you didn't. That is why I said "author" and not "Laz".

But you do seem to be defending it.

So, Laz - Do you agree with the statement that "Arafat has done as much evil in the world as Hitler did", or are you just taking its side just because you love to argue with me? :-)
